In Person:
Come to the circulation desk any time when the library is open.
Apply Online:
Once processed please DO NOT come in for your card as it will be mailed to you for residence verification. Please use your license until you receive the card. (Please click the icon on the left to apply online).
To Renew your expired card:
Please come into the library with current proof of residency. If you can't make it, call the library to renew. For employment/school cards, you MUST come into the library with current proof of employment/attendance.
Are you eligible for a card? Library cards are given to anyone who:
- Lives in the town of Yorktown
- Lives in the Lakeland School District
- Lives in the Town of Cortlandt but NOT in the Hendrick Hudson School District
- Lives outside of Westchester County and works or attends school in the areas listed above
Proof of residency/employment/school attendance is required for a card. You may use any Westchester library card in our library if you live outside of our area.
