Meet the Board
Mike Resko is an attorney in private practice and an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School. He has experience advising both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He lives in Yorktown with his wife and three children, who all use and enjoy our library. In addition to volunteering at the library, he is active in youth sports as a volunteer and coach.
Kathleen Law-Imperato lives in Yorktown Heights with her husband, Joe, and their two children. Kathy spent her childhood going to school in Shrub Oak and spent many afternoons at John C Hart library. She worked as an Institutional Sales Trader at several brokerage firms in Manhattan before settling back in Yorktown Heights to raise a family. She is certified as a 7th - 12th grade Social Studies teacher and is presently a substitute teacher for Yorktown and Croton-Harmon schools. Kathy is proud to be part of the John C Hart Library Board of Trustees.
Linda Gironda lives in Yorktown Heights with her husband Robert, and their 3 sons. She is an attorney with the New York State Unified Court System and an adjunct lecturer at SUNY Purchase. In 2002, Linda served as a member of the Board of Trustees and most recently, as a Board Member with the Friends of the John C. Hart Library. Linda and her family love the library and the many wonderful programs and resources it offers for the local community.

Heather O’Donnell has lived in Yorktown Heights with her husband and five children for the last 40 years and is a retired school psychologist who maintains a family therapy practice in Nyack, NY. She considers the library a welcome sanctuary where the mind can dive deeply into facts, knowledge and the magic of imagination. Heather served on the board in the late 1980's to the '90's se and is devoted to the further advancement of a library that has served its community so well.
Catherine and her family live in Yorktown Heights and have been using the library for over 25 years. They have enjoyed the many programs offered there from pre-school to young adult. Catherine has been employed by the New York State Courts since 1980. She is pleased to be part of the Board of Trustees and looks forward to assisting them in the good work that they do.
