Audrey Sherman
Audrey Sherman has been a resident of Yorktown for twenty years. She lives with her husband Robert and their son age fourteen and their daughter age twelve. Audrey has been a technical writer at PerkinElmer for sixteen years. She was appointed to the Board in 2006. In her spare time, Audrey enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Catherine Wald
Catherine Wald is a freelance journalist, corporate writer and confirmed bookworm whose work has been published in Creative Nonfiction, Poets & Writers, Writer’s Digest, Reader’s Digest, The New York Times, and Woman’s Day, among others. She is also author of The Resilient Writer: Tales of Rejection and Triumph from 23 Top Authors (Persea Books, April 2005). Cathy is Book Review Editor for Friends Journal magazine and a member of the American Society of Journalists & Authors. She has lived in Mohegan Lake for 20 years with her husband, a teacher. Her son and daughter are both graduates of Lakeland High School.

Lesley Benedusi
Lesley Benedusi was an English teacher for 33 years, 31 years at Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Virginia, until she retired in June, 2000. During this time she served as department chairperson from 1988 until her retirement and also helped sponsor the student art and literary magazine. She was appointed to the board in 2002. She is currently working part-time and enjoys reading mysteries, hiking and playing golf.

Linda Gironda
Linda Gironda is a resident of Yorktown Heights where she lives with her husband, Robert and her 3 sons who are enrolled in Yorktown schools. As a family, they take advantage of many of the Library's wonderful offerings and programs. Linda is an attorney who works for the New York Court System. She was appointed to the Library Board in 2002.
