Bios:
Linda Gironda
Linda Gironda is a resident of Yorktown Heights where she lives with her husband, Robert and her 3 sons who are enrolled in Yorktown schools. As a family, they take advantage of many of the Library's wonderful offerings and programs. Linda is an attorney who works for the New York Court System. She was appointed to the Library Board in 2002.
Lesley Benedusi
Lesley Benedusi was an English teacher for 33 years, 31 years at
Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Virginia, until she retired in
June, 2000. During this time she served as department chairperson
from 1988 until her retirement and also helped sponsor the student art and literary magazine. She was
appointed to the board in 2002. She is currently working part-time
and enjoys reading mysteries, hiking and playing golf.
Regina Hall
Regina Hall has been a resident of Yorktown for 11 years
and feels that being a trustee of the John C. Hart Memorial Library
is an important way to serve the community. She lives with her husband,
Charles, and their two children, ages six and nine. Regina is currently
a teacher at St. Ann's School in Yonkers. Prior to teaching, Regina
worked for Avon Products in New York City. Her hobbies are reading
and writing (of course) as well as spending time outdoors. Her favorite
activity is spending time with family and friends.
Audrey Sherman
Audrey Sherman has been a resident of Yorktown for twenty years. She lives with her husband Robert and their son age fourteen and their daughter age twelve. Audrey has been a technical writer at PerkinElmer for sixteen years. She was appointed to the Board in 2006. In her spare time, Audrey enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Lois White
Lois A. White, a lawyer and resident of Yorktown since 1996, has
been on the Board since 1998.
