Here are some of the new materials that are coming to WLS. Your John C. Hart library card gives you access to almost any book in the entire system!
About Us
Yorktown's community library since 1920.
The John C. Hart Memorial Library received its charter from New York State on September 3rd, 1920. Today, the library serves the Lakeland and Yorktown School Districts, which encompass all of the Town of Yorktown and a large portion of the Town of Cortlandt. The Library boasts a physical collection of over 100,000 print resources and an extensive digital collection of ebooks and audiobooks. Additionally, patrons have access to media streaming services, educational websites, research databases, and more. The library also hosts extensive on-site and virtual programs for patrons of all ages. For more information check out our menu options at the top of the page.
